The table below shows the proportion of different categories of familiesliving in poverty in Australia in 1999.
Family types, Proportion of people from each household typeliving inpoverty;四行信息分列两侧,左边四项,右边数字有百分号。
最后,看剩下的题目内容,那叫一个蛋疼,一个词组居然出现了3次in:families living in poverty in Australia in1999.
Sample Answer:
The chart illustrates the percentage of various poor families in Australiain 1999
The form indicates the percentage of many/4 types of Australian poorhouseholds in 1999
We can not imagine our life without 。
is now being witnessed everywhere。
now could be found everywhere。
has established itself as a growing trend。
There emerged a growing trend that 。
More and more people are choosing 。
More and more people tend to believe that 。
It is not uncommon to see that 。
It is not uncommon to see 。
People are beginning to realize 。
Several decades ago, few people could have imagined that 。
The development of technology changes the way people interact with each other. In what ways does technology affect the types of relationships people make? Is it a positive or negative development?
As a matter of fact, the issue on the effects of science and technology is a complex and controversial one. Different individuals can hold various opinions due to their distinct backgrounds, therefore, there is no universal answer to this question. In some areas, some people believe that technology has brought benefits on people's relationship, in other fields, others mountain that it has some side effects。
It is undeniable that science and technology has played an increasingly important role in modern society. The benefits brought by such trend are obvious, but problems have also been welled up. As for its influences on people's relationship, I believe the advantages brought by technology outweigh its drawbacks。
Even two decades ago, few people could have imagined that we can perform our daily tasks via computer. Now more and more people are choosing to do the shopping, banking and even work online. So how can such trend affect the interactions between modern-day people? I will give my answer in the following essay。
Science and technology have changed people's relationships significantly, which I believe has more benefits than risks。
It is argued that more risks than benefits have been brought by the development of technology on people's relationships. Personally, I can hardly agree with this opinion。
要点之1、 Restatement of the Topic
要点之2、Express Your Opinion
I partly agree with the opinion expressed above.
要点之3、No Excessive Background
“So long as no laws are broken, there is nothing unethical about doingwhatever you need to do to promote existing products or to create newproducts.”
The speaker asserts that in creating and marketing products, companies actethically merely by not violating any laws. Although the speaker’s position isnot wholly insupportable, far more compelling arguments can be made for holdingbusinesses to higher ethical standards than those required by the letter of thelaw.
Most people would agree that buildings represent a valuable record of anysociety’s past, but controversy arises when old buildings stand on ground thatmodern planners feel could be better used for modern purposes.
The issue of whether to raze an old, historic building to make way forprogress is a complex one, since it involves a conflict between our interest inpreserving our culture, tradition, and history and a legitimate need to createpractical facilities that serve current utilitarian purposes. In my view, thefinal judgment should depend on a case-by-case analysis of two key factors.
“Clearly, government has a responsibility to support the arts. However, ifthat support is going to produce anything of value, government must place norestrictions on the art that is produced.”
The speaker here argues that government must support the arts but at thesame time impose no control over what art is produced. The implicit rationalefor government intervention in the arts is that, without it, cultural declineand erosion of our social fabric will result. However, I find no empiricalevidence to support this argument, which in any event is unconvincing in lightof more persuasive arguments that government should play no part in eithersupporting or restricting the arts.
“Work greatly influences people’s personal lives—their special interests, their leisure activities, even their appearance way from the work place.”
The speaker claims that our jobs greatly influence our personal interests, recreational activities and even appearance. While I agree that the personallives of some people are largely determined by their work, in my view it wouldbe a mistake to draw this conclusion generally. In my observation, the extent towhich occupation influences personal life depends on the nature of the work, andhow central the work is to one’s sense of self.
“We shape our buildings and afterwards our buildings shape us.”
I believe this statement should be interpreted broadly—to mean that we areinfluenced by the exterior shape of buildings, as well as by the arrangement ofmultiple buildings and by a building’s various architectural and aestheticelements. While I doubt that buildings determine our character or basicpersonality traits, I agree that they can greatly influence our attitudes, moods, and even life styles.
