The director of 3.0 Verse Mayur Poddar has said Africa is the fastest-growing crypto market.

Poddar stated this at a stakeholders’ conference tagged ‘3.0 Verse summit 2024-Africa edition’ held in Lagos.

The summit underscored the transformative power of crypto adoption in Nigeria and emphasized the continent’s position as an emerging force in the global crypto ecosplayystem.

Poddar, who boasted of 17 years in financial markets, specialising in cutting-edge tech for financial brokers and institutions, reiterated that the economic potential of blockchain industry is massive in terms of such opportunities.

“We have over three million plus users and that is three per cent of the entire 100 million market share. We hope that in two years we should have 10 per cent of the market share and have 50 per cent trading volumes,” he stated.
